News Valley Gators Robotics Team Brings home a Trophy! - Our middle school Robotics Team competed in the Nexteer "Ready, Set, Lego" Tournament at Delta College. They competed in 4 robot challenge matches and were judged in three other events including their research project, core values/teamwork, and technical robot design/programming. Even though it was the teams very first year, their teamwork and positive attitude impressed the judges enough that the team was given the trophy for Gracious Professionalism, which is given to the team that judges believe best exemplifies the spirit of the FIRST Lego League (FLL) competition – an ethos established by the founders that realizes that the path to success matters as much as the success itself and that the competition is not for the sake of destroying one another, but for the sake of bettering and improving everyone involved in the process. That says a lot about our kids! Valley Auction - March 3rd - Valley's annual fund raising auction is fast approaching! It will be held at the Davison Country Club.
